Waterville...also called Watervale
is located three miles north of Tombstone. So named because of
water seepage from a wash at this point. Here it is said
Schieffelin and Dick Gird did some of their first prospecting.
This was also the site of the first store in the Tombstone district.
The remains of a couple walls are to be found at this location.
